Microsoft Invests in CyanogenMod

Microsoft, the Redmond based Software giant is investing in CyanogenMod a company which produces high performance and  more customisable version of Android operating system.Bloomberg reports that Microsoft invests in CyanogenMod in order to produce mobile phones based on Android but with Microsoft's services(which Microsoft did in its Nokia X which is a failure).Since there is no report about how much Microsoft invests in Cyanogen it is expected that it invests small amount of sum in its 100million mission. This report came to limelight after CyanogenMod CEO tweeted that CyanogenMod is taking away Android from Google .CyanogenMod's market is steadily increasing in  and it also partnered with phone manufacturers Oneplus(OnePlus One phone) and Micromax(YU Yureka) to produce budget smartphones.Ahead of this agreement we can expect CyanogenMod powered Microsoft phones to replace its own Nokia X.

Is HTC One M9 leaks are decoys?

Front Side of the leaked Image
Some days ago,Phandroid an Android blog released some pictures of phone that is similar to HTC One M8, but with some build changes and claimed that it may be the final pictures of HTC's upcoming flagship HTC One M9.According to Phandroid,HTC One M9 might have the Quallcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core chipset and Adreno  430 GPU with 3GB of RAM.In the leaked picture it is clear that the UltraPixel camera of the HTC One M8 is gone and is expected to be replaced by latest Sony Exmor Sensor and also there is no change in the position of HTC's Boomspeakers. The same Phandroid blog after some days said that HTC might be employing decoy devices during their testing and the final product which is going to be unveiled at March 1 might be different from the leaked image.Anyways this leaked image created lot of hype and buzz about the upcoming HTC's flagship phone.

Desktop Operating System with Material design is on the Way!!!

Quantom OS a Linux distro will be going to be the first desktop operating system with material design interface.Material Design is a popularised word for Android users hence it is restricted to touchbased mobile phones alone.Quantum OS is trying to bring together Material Design and Linux, while using the powerful JavaScript-based language QML. It’s not nearly ready for distribution to the masses quite yet, though Quantum OS will likely leverage an existing Linux distro like Ubuntu. The source code is available on GitHub right now, but it sounds like we still have awhile to wait.

Apple iphone 6 and iphone 6 plus can handle 4K videos

Apple the cupertino giant, during its release of its iphone semmed to have omitted to tell us a feature about A8 chip, that is it can handle 4K videos. The researchers behind the app WALTR found that it can playback 4K videos without any issues using that app.Since there is no reason to watch such a high resolution videos in 1080p retina display screen which cannot plot all the pixels and provide the 4K experience also the files are large to handle which consumes lot of storage space. So what do you think is this a cool feature to show off or do you say that this is just a common feature available in android flagship phones start a discussion in the comment box below.

Nexus 6 has hidden LED notification light

There was a huge expectation on Nexus 6 made by Motorola because of its latest cutting edge features but there was more features than they told it seems.Today XDA developer blog posted that a developer got LED notification light near the speaker of the phone after rooting it and it has three customisable colours Red,Green and Blue.Motorola or Google didn't say that it has LED notification light feature which was so useful.Yet you need to Root the phone in order to avail the untold feature which breaks the warranty of the Google flagship phone, which is not good thing.
